Delete Your Account

You can request deletion of your Hasheem Gaming account and its associated data at any time. This page explains how, without needing to open the app.

Option 1 — Delete it yourself, in the app (fastest)

Hasheem Gaming (Android app, package com.hasheemgaming.app) includes a built-in account deletion tool:

Open the Hasheem Gaming app and sign in to the account you want to delete.
Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account.
Choose either:
- Delete Account — schedules deletion with a 30-day recovery window. Signing back in during those 30 days cancels the deletion.
- Erase My Data Now — immediately and permanently erases the account, with no recovery window.
We email a 6-digit confirmation code to your account email. Enter it to confirm — this protects against someone else deleting your account without access to your inbox.

Option 2 — Request deletion without the app

If you no longer have the app installed or cannot sign in, email support@hasheemgaming.com with the subject line "Delete my account" from the email address registered on your account, or include your account username so we can verify ownership. We will confirm your identity before processing the request.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account removes:

Your profile, username, avatar and account settings.
Your private messages, chats and community post history tied to your account.
Your saved device/session data and push-notification tokens.

What may be retained, and why

Some records are kept even after account deletion where legally or operationally necessary — this matches the retention rules described in our Privacy Policy:

Payment and transaction records — retained as required for accounting, dispute resolution and fraud prevention, even after your account is deleted.
Content required for other users' conversations — where your message is part of another user's active chat, it may be retained or anonymised rather than fully removed, so we don't break the other person's conversation history.
Accounts that created tournaments — if your account created a tournament, self-service deletion is not available; contact support@hasheemgaming.com and we will process it manually.

Timeline

The standard Delete Account option gives you a 30-day window to change your mind before erasure completes. The Erase My Data Now option and support-assisted requests are processed without a recovery window once confirmed.

Your other privacy rights
